To apply for admission, obtain an application form and prospectus from SVS by post, or from our website (www.svsindia.org). Send the filled-in application form along with supporting documents (see below the list of supporting documents) and demand draft for Rs.100.00 drawn in favour of Sathya Veda Seminary, payable at Thirumalla.

SVS requires entrance examinations and a personal interview with all applicants before deciding on admission. The interviews will be held at SVS in the 1st week of May (1st session) and in the 3rd week of May (Final session). The entrance exams are conducted after the students complete 2 weeks of academic orientation at SVS.
The Applicants who have graduated from non-ATA institutions and those from ATA institutions but with a minimum grade will need to take Qualifying Examinations which will take place in the 2nd week of June at SVS.
CONFIRMATION OF ADMISSION
Those who are offered a place at SVS must pay the registration fee (refer prospectus) at the time of admission. Failure to pay the registration fee will result in cancellation of admission; and the place will promptly be given to the next in line. Registration, orientation and academic sessions for new students will be conducted from the 1st week of May.
ACCREDITATION OF ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
SVS will accept only those whose requisite theological degrees are from colleges or seminaries accredited by the Asia Theological Association, or other institutions recognized by ATA. In other cases applicants may be required to take additional Qualifying examinations.
TYPICAL ACADEMIC YEAR
There are two semesters in our academic year.
The ATA-accredited two-year Diploma in Theology is an equivalent of the HSC/+2. Applicants who have completed successfully a two-year programme that has an entrance requirement of successful completion of 10 years of schooling [SSC], but is not ATA-accredited, must appear for and successfully pass a qualifying examination consisting of three papers set at the Final year Dip Th in Biblical Studies, Theology and Christian Ministry. However, such applicants will not be granted any advanced credit toward the B.Th degree.
Mature candidates who do not meet the required entrance qualification, but are at least 25 years of age, will be admitted into the programme on the basis of a qualifying exam set at the 12th standard level [three courses].
Every year the due date for receiving completed applications along with Rs.100.00 is April 10th. The closing date for receiving completed applications with an additional late fee of Rs. 100.00 is May 20th.
Duly attested copies of all academic certificates and mark statements. Without them your application will not be processed.
The Reference Forms, duly filled by the persons you mentioned in your application, sealed in the envelopes provided for the purpose (These must not include parents, family members or any other close relatives). Make sure that they reach the office in time.
Your Testimony and call for ministry in your own words. This should include the following aspects - conversion experience, call for ministry, previous ministry experience and how you feel the training would help to fulfill your call.
Copies of Ministry Experience Certificate (if any).
Two copies of your recent passport size photographs one pasted to the application and the other clipped to the form.
Attested Xerox copy of your Birth Certificate.
Attested copy of proof of identify to prove your citizenship (Electoral Identity Card / Ration Card / Passport / any other).
The Medical Certificate of Physical Fitness in the prescribed form enclosed in the prospectus along with copies of medical records. Non-disclosure of history of any past illnesses and medications will lead to cancellation of admission.
The Sponsorship Form, duly filled and signed with the official seal of the sponsoring individual or organization.
A Demand Draft (non-refundable) towards the application - processing fee of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of Sathyaveda Seminary Institute payable at Thirumala.
